Maureen Joyce is a community engaged sculptor and ceramic artist. She is devoted to working with communities using clay to break down barriers to mental health conversations. She’s the creator and co-founder of I’m fine. Sculpting mental health awareness. She conceived and directs Suicide Loss Survivors (SLS) a meet-up that provides a safe and creative space for emotional expression and community. In 2017 she established ArtsLive, a collaborative art program for adults with disabilities that engages visiting artists, Red Tomato Farm participants, and the surrounding communities.
Joyce is originally from Pittsburgh and currently resides in Carlisle, PA. She finds inspiration in community conversations, nature, and travel.
